Intern in the Spotlight: Bruun Hofmann

Education and School:
I study All-round Metal Production Technology at Talland and Tetrix College in Heerhugowaard.

Internship type:
Work & learn programme.

Assignment:
My tasks and assignments are aimed at becoming an all-round metalworker/technician.

Why Heilig?
Heilig seemed like a versatile company, and I want to learn many different things. At an open day at Tetrix, we had a conversation and it sounded like a good opportunity.

Learning beyond the books:
Good communication – otherwise things can go wrong. Once, I removed a part from a drive that wasn’t supposed to be removed.

Best thing about Heilig:
The colleagues, the interesting type of work, and the responsibilities I get for my own assignments, such as final assembly of mixer parts.

Most impressive moment:
Patrick Schuijt, who always hands out sweets at 3:00 p.m.

Tip for new interns:
Listen well and have fun – it’s a great company. Colleagues might seem a bit odd at times, but they are friendly and mean well.
